There were a few more listings to see this week with a total of 31 across 8 of our cities and towns. Both Berkley and Dighton had zero new listings and in fact, Dighton does not currently have any single family homes for sale š³. Iām not a fan of the phrase ānow is the timeā, but letās just say that if youāre considering selling your Dighton home, youāre likely to sell fast š.
There were 6 properties to hit the market and go under contract in less than 7 days this week. You can bet that these buyers are represented by a diligent RealtorĀ®! Why?ā¦because those agents are actively watching the market and are way faster than online big box websites. Looking for an agent like that? Hmmmmā¦I may know someone š¤£.
Of the 24 homes sold/closed this week, 46% were over asking between $20k – $80k. This isnāt a new trend considering the low inventory available, but a few of these results may surprise you. That lack of listings in Dighton for example brought the latest seller $50k over asking. And it still didnāt make the top 3!
Though weāre still clearly in a sellerās market, a few buyers found savings off of listing price. 33% to be exact and prices paid under asking ranged between $1k – $58k. Where and why? Contact me here for the list as well as this weekās (6) local price reductions!
