A predictably low volume week of new listings across our ten cities and towns as kids started go back to school and we all prepared to enjoy the holiday weekend.

Price reductions were seen in 5 areas including Dighton (1), Raynham (1), Rehboth (2), Seekonk (1) and Taunton (1) while the highest price paid over asking happened in Attleboro at $60k over list. Attleboro also topped this week’s list of total homes closed over asking…13 out of 19 homes sold anywhere from $5,000 – $60,000 above list.

The town of Somerset is still on …7 out of 7 homes sold closed at over asking, the highest being $51k! Though the town did not have any new listings this week, there are currently 12 single family homes available for anyone looking in that area with prices ranging from $349,000 to $1,249,000.
